I first heard about LeadPages about a year ago and began diving into it seriously about 6 months ago. I’m blown away by the possibilities and really how good it is at generating leads.
Many of you likely checked out because of my last sentence as you’re likely a church leader and had the thought that you’re not a business and don’t need “leads”. While we use different terminology in the church, capturing the email address of a potential visitor is extremely valuable and there’s no tool to do this better than LeadPages that I’m aware of.
There are so many things I like about LeadPages, but here are the top 3:
1) Simplicity- it’s extremely easy to setup and use. You can have your first lead page created and live within 5 minutes. You simply pick you template, change your colors, update the text and connect the tool to your email marketing platform.
2) Options - LeadPages goes far beyond just a landing page with an email capture pop up. They offer a diverse selection of template options for event registrations, sales pages, and so much more. You can literally create a full website using the platform if you want.
3) Integrations – having the ability to easily and seamlessly integrate with MailChimp, Constant Contact, Wordpress and so many other platforms is huge in integrating it into your web systems.
As much as I love this platform I do want to give one word of caution. I believe it to be a good thing, but many have complained with the lack of flexibility with the templates. People often want to upload a bigger picture, move a text block over a little bit or customize their LeadPages more than the platform allows. I do understand that if you know code that you can, but I don’t and I’m guessing many of you don’t, so we can’t. Consider yourself warned, but please don’t let this deter you from giving it a try.
If you currently use LeadPages I would love for you to comment below with a link to your pages. Also, feel free to Comment with your questions as we would love to answer them!
